Mayflower Park Hotel Seattle
This property seems to be in a great location, and the price is one of the more reasonable I've seen for Seattle in August. It looks like an older hotel, but the pictures look okay. Any drawbacks or other opinions?

We have stayed there several times and absolutely love it. We used to live in the area, so knew the location was prime. It is an older hotel, but it is extremely well kept. We have had a variety of room types, and all have been great. Some have 2 full bathrooms even. The restaurant and bar are both very good, and the valets are quick. If you are doing things right in the core of downtown though, you don't need to drive as this location is great for so many things.
Between the time that we lived up there and now returning often, we have stayed at several downtown hotels and this is by far our favorite. |
I have only been to the restaurant Andalusia and have not seen the rooms, but the location is excellent.

I love the Mayflower Park hotel. I toured it recently with the sales manager when I planned our holiday party there. Yes it's an older historic hotel, but it is family-owned and really well maintained. Oliver's lobby bar and Andaluca restaurant are both wonderful. It's location is perfectly central yet the rooms are quiet (I don't know what kind of windows they have but it was amazing how muffled the downtown noises are). The staff is great, perfect balance of professional, yet friendly and casual. I can't think of any drawbacks.

Well, we're booked for our 4 nights in August. Thanks for the help.
