Saw it in 2000, we both enjoyed it. Not really "magic" tho'.

some in our group went to this show. They liked it. We went to the magic show at the kaanapali Beach Hotel. We really thought it would be hokey and didn't expect much from it. It was awesome and ended up being one of the highlights from our trip. We highly recommend this. The meal was also great!

It was several years ago, but I saw it and LOVED it. was one of my favorite formal "activities" on the vacation. Was with a couple family members who really enjoyed it too.

Has anyone recently seen "Ulalena" in Lahaina, Maui. I have read mixed reviews with the newer show and wonder if it is worth seeing. Thanks.

Ulalena is a Cirque Du Soleil production and is about Hawaiian lore with acts. I enjoyed it, but saw it a few years ago. If you are looking for a magic show, I recommend Warren and Annabelles, it's a hoot

In my opinion Ulalena is good but not great. Warren and Annabelle's Magic show is great! (But only if Warren is there and not a substitute while he's on vacation.)

So hard to predict someone else's enjoyment. I went to Ulalena with my sister. She was so moved by it that she wept. I was glad it was fairly short. I've also been to Warren & Annabelles. My husband thought it was great; friends thought it cheesy; and I was mildly amused.

Good point Barbara!! And now that you mention it my parents did decide NOT to attend Ulalena... all that drumming, just not their thing!

I send Montereybob. We saw the show last year and enjoyed it. Would say it was good but not great. If you want a laugh go to Warren and Annabelle's (once again only if Warrenis there). We've seen it a couple of times and really enjoy it.
