Maui Tide Pools & Snorkeling?

Going to Maui in October. Where is the best place for snorkeling? Also, are there good neat tide pools to explore in Maui?

Maui revealed would be a great resource for details and directions.

There really arent' tide pools in Maui like there are in the Oregon coast. There are many resources that will give you information on snorkeling.

We enjoyed snorkeling at Honalua Bay in Kapalua & at Black Rock in Kaanapali(next to the Sheraton Maui).

Hi Wendie

I don't know if this reply is too late, but if you haven't left for Maui yet contact the Pacific Whale Foundation. They offer tide pool evening discovery tours near Wailea. Check on their website for the phone number and give them a call.. I know that Marine Biologist accompany the group and it is only $10 pp. Have a great trip

I did a separate posting for this, but in case you haven't left for Maui yet....
