maui souveneirs

where is the best place to buy souveniers in Maui at a reasonable price?

Check out Costco for some nice books. "Maui On My Mind" has some awesome photos.
For the more touristy type stuff go to Walmart, KMart, even Longs or ABC.

We found some neat stuff and great prices at the Saturday market in Kahului.

For the best souveniers make them your self, from drift wood and shells. Example- 6-10 inch piece of driftwood, gather sand from every beach you visit say a film container full, and some shells washed up on the beaches. write there names on the wood in pencil and apply glue to names ,sprinkle sand on glue. Attach shells to wood with hot glue gun and attach an eye to one end with a chain to hang outside. nick

Best place to get souveneirs are places like Costco, Walgreens, any drug store. I also like going to local grocery stores to get great deals on Hawaiian coffee and local spices and sauces. Believe it or not, one of my favorite Maui souveneirs are Maui onions! They are sweet like Vidalia onions and very expensive or hard to get on the mainland. Check out the grocery store to see if they are in season.
