Just got back from Renaissance Wailea in October -- it was gorgeous. Great beach, lovely rooms, excellent service, beautiful grounds. I recommend it.

I second the above post - Renaissance Hotel in Wailea.

I have gotten some great information from the Four SEasons in Maui. You may want to look in that direction also. We are planning a visit in June.

Mahalo faby! You will love honeymooning in Maui, it's SO romantic! The comfortable 12 person minivan tours, the view of the sun setting over the gift shops as you longingly finger a plastic hula girl doll, gazing into your new husband's eyes as he sips that electric Blue Hawaiian cocktail with the little parasols in it, and won't he look fetching in a neon colored Hawaiian shirt!......*sigh*

Now as far as hotels, I recommend the Sheraton. Ignore that letter that you read here from the disgruntled Sheraton customer; she had no business posting it here to ruin my commission opportun....er....I mean, to imply that you wouldn't have a great experience! If you just pay top dollar for the most expensive room there, it should be fine. Since you are honeymooners, I can get you a pass which will get you to the head of the Mai Tai line at cocktail hour too!

I TOLD you, I'm not a travel agent, I just loving helping Hawaii travelers! E-mail me for more unbiased tips!

Mahalo!

Hi Faby

Lots of beautiful hotels in Maui.. We just returned from Maui 2 weeks, and miss that place dearly.. boo hoo!!
Anyways, We stayed at the Aston Kaanapali Shores. This was a nice place. It had a living room, bedroom, and full kitchen, restaurant, 2 swimming pools, exercise room, and
tennis courts. We had a oceanview room on the 8th floor. Wonderful view. We also visited Embassy Suites resort next door, Beautiful hotel too. (I hear this place has lots of kids) Also, the Hyatt Regency is fabulous, Renaissance Wailea, Four Seasons, Kea Lanai, and Grand Wailea are all nice properties. Wailea is more quiet and laid back. Beautiful area!!!
Good Luck
