Maui Revealed

How is the book Maui Revealed? Is it worth buying and bringing along to Maui?

I've read it all the way through just for fun several times. And it's great for driving around the island. Lots of good pictures...
I have a whole collection of Maui guidebooks and it's my favorite.
In short, you must have it!

We visited Maui 5 or 6 times, prior to buying Maui Revealed. On our next trip, armed with M.R., we discovered several great snorkeling sites and several other interesting places that we didn't even know existed. The book is definitely worth it's price.

Another good Maui book is by Richard Sullivan. It's called "Driving and Discovering Maui and Molokai" and I like it for the same reasons Crazy4 (-: likes "Maui Revealed"--beautiful photos and and excellent driving info. If possible, and you won't feel overwhelmed with TMI (too much info) try to read both. Sullivan's book has stunning photos (difficult NOT to get in Hawaii) along with information on precisely where they were taken, and exactly how to get to that spot. This book is available on Amazon.com, or at some of the stores in Hawaii.
