Maui Raining: What to do then?
We were planning to driving to Hana and Haleakala on Sun and Mon, but the weather forecast shows rain on both of those days. Should we avoid going there because of the rain? Road is more hazardous and can't hike out there?

Other parts of the island is also getting rain, according to the forecast, so beach activities may not be good either. What to do?

Hope some folks are still around to answer my questions. Thanks! Heading out to Maui today...

The weather forcasts always show rain somewhere on the island sometime during the day. I wouldn't worry about it.

Have a great trip.

I have Maui weather on my watchlist, you should have no problems at all. IF you get a day that rains hard enough to ccl a plan, go above the rain to the volcano or the aquarium.

Thanks, iamq and Franks, for your quick response!

Ok, let me check the upcountry.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

My family atteended the Warren and Annabelles show and it was great. We had seats at the stage and actually participated int he show. Get tickets early and you'll enjoy it. Worth the tickets prices.

The best source for accurate weather info is
Be sure to read Glenn's Daily Narrative..there's a link on the website. He lives on Maui and updates his narrative at least twice a day.
If you truly get a day that is wet all over the island, there are some small museums that are interesting. My favorites are the Bailey House in Wailuku and the Sugar Museum just outside Kahalui.
