Maui Prince Hotel Makena Resort construction in August?
We are considering the Maui Prince Hotel Makena Resort in August for the end of our Maui/BI/Maui stay. We keep reading about demolition, construction...does anyone have any more information on that? Thanks!

Yesterday I received an email from the hotel entitled, "Maui Prince Hotel Rejuvenated". Inside the email said:
"We’ve taken everything you love about Makena’s premier resort and made it even more extraordinary with a multimillion dollar transformation of our guestrooms, Clubhouse and restaurants.
We invite you to experience a whole new level of Hawaiian contemporary elegance combined with the celebrated Aloha that keep locals and returning guests coming back year after year."
I assumed from this that the work was complete.. but it didn't actually say those words. I'd call.

Thank you for the info link John. I did call, and they mentioned some construction on an adjacent property, and noted to place us away from that. I appreciate the update about the renovation itself!
