Maui Onion at the Renaissance Wailea
 

When is the Renasissance scheduled to be closed? We'll be on Maui in late February and would like to eat the onion rings at Maui Onion and am hoping the hotel will still be open for business. Thanks.

I haven't been to the Maui Onion in 13 years and I still remember those rings!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the Renaissance is still open while you're on Maui.

I heard when I was there a couple of weeks ago that it is now scheduled to close in April. The Maui Onion is still there, and we enjoyed the BEST onion rings (along with good salads and sandwiches as well!)

jd - Did you happen to notice if they still have the mahi mahi burger on the menu?

Yeah! I knew fodorites would know! Thank you. It is going to be our first stop on the way to our rental!

wtm003-No,I can't remember if they had the mahi mahi burger on the menu.I had the portobello mushroom,grilled veggie, avocado and melted cheese on focaccia bread with pesto mayonnaise.Highly recommended!!
