Maui Nature Walks

Aloha everyone! I am planning a 1 week trip to Maui for myself, DH and my in-laws (in 60s and 70s). I have been searching and reading many posts on the forum and there is such a wealth of information here. Thanks to all the posters for answering questions and sharing info.

My mom-in-law has a back-problem and my father-in-law has week knees. They are very spirited and interested in doing things. However, at a stretch, they can only walk for about an hour. Then take a break to rejuvenate. I am trying to plan the trip around this limitation and all your posts have come handy so far.

However, I am curious if any of you know about any nature walks/strolls that we can take. Any walks or easy hikes that are 1 to 1.5 miles?

Mahalo, in advance, for your help!

Not nature walks, but both Kaanappali and Wailea have wonderful ocean paths fronting the areas grand hotels. That could be very enjoyable. If you make it to Hana, there are nice paths around black sand beach.

Safe journey!

I think the walk to the Iao Valley would be good for them. You can check the distance, though I think it's in your range. Also check the distance for the walk to Twin Falls in Upcountry.

Thanks Kealalani! I remember doing both of those walks 4 months after foot/ bunion surgery, and having no issues.

Thank you kealalani and trippinkpg. The oceanfront walk sounds perfect! And I will look into the other options you suggested.

Mahalo again! :)
