Maui Luau
Of the many luau's in Maui which one would you guys say is highly recommended and provides the best overall experience?
Hyatt Luau
Marriot Luau
Old Lahaina Luau
Outrigger Wailea Luau
Renaissance Luau
Royal Lahaina Luau

I'd suggest one not on your list--The Feast at Lele. It's performed in Lahaina and we loved it! It involves dances and food from a few different islands (Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti) and a fire dancer at the end. The talent was good and so was the food! It's served to you at your table, so no buffet!

I've been to the Old Lahaina Luau twice and will be going again in May. I loved that one. Our wedding coordinator in Maui recommended it many years ago.

penaddict,

we are going to maui in may also and want to go to the lahania luau. maybe we'll see you there! ;-)
|
Old Lahaina, without a doubt, is the best.
|
One note: regardless of which one you decide on, make reservations BEFORE you go. Especially for the Old Lahaina Luau--it was already booked when we got there for a 7 day stay!

Lahaina luau was great! Wewent with our kids and requested mat seating rather than chairs for a more authentic feel. The show was great and the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen.

I agree with Travelisfun. The Feast at Lele is absolutely fantastic. We were there in July 2001. It was worth every penny.
