Maui lodging and weather
HI,
I will be traveling to Maui in March and was wondering what type of weather to expect. I have heard this is the rainy season, but not on the entire island. Also, need to know if it is better to stay in a hotel or condo. There will be two of us for 6 nights. I do not want to stay in a noisy crowded area. Thanks for your help |

Weather on Maui can be unpredictable altho in our experience altho others will tell you that the sun always shines. We've stayed at Kahana, Kihei and Kaanapali - usually warm and partly cloudy but we did spend one incredibly long week in Kihei when it rained with gusty winds every single day. Not a lot to do when its pouring in paradise with two kids, believe me!

Oops, didn't mean to post Jan and Feb too! Sorry.

cmeyer54, the first thing to know about weather on Maui is if you don't like the weather where you are, go to the other side.
