Maui Kid Friendly Luaus

Looking for a luau that kids will enjoy (ages 9 &13) in Maui, west side. Don't want to spend a ton, when I know they won't eat most of the food.

Old Lahaina Luau is great for all ages. It's expensive, but I consider the price as much for the setting, the show, the entire experience, not just the buffet dinner (although I thought it was surprisingly nice, but then I love Hawaiian food).

I've been to Old Lahaina Luau 3 times & love it, but this time my grandkids (5 & 7) are coming with. They're picky eaters & I know they won't like the food at OLL. So we're going to the Royal Lahaina Luau instead. Reasons are - they have a kids menu, they have fire dancers which I think the kids will enjoy, and best of all the kids are free. You can book Royal Lahaina for $61.99 with 14 days advance thru hawaiiactivityworld.com. You might have to pay for your 13 year old. I've read mixed reviews of the Royal Lahaina, but we're going to take the risk. Hopefully, we'll all have an enjoyable time!

For kids I would not recommend the Feast At Lele. I would highly recommend it for adults, but since it is an upscale dining experience type luau with with creative food items, the high price would be wasted on kids and they would want more basic type foods.
The range for Luau prices on Maui range from approximately $70 to $115 per person.

Royal Lahaina Luau is decent. Its not quite as good as some other luaus but much easier on the budget.

In addition to the typical luau menu, they also have a kids menu.

They have a fire knife dancer which kids really like.

Kids 6-11, one free with each paying adult.

It would cost $186 for the 4 of you.

The Kaanapali Beach Hotel has a free luau every night. Just walk through the hotel to the outdoor terrace area. It's not fancy and does not include meals, unless you want to order food from the restaurant that sits out there too. But if you're looking for a basic show with music & dance, this might do.
