Maui Hyatt Room Views

I have reservations at the Maui Hyatt and have the option of three room views:

1. Inside the resort grounds
2. Mountain View
3. Golf Course View

Does anyone have suggestions on the best view on the above choices? Thanks.

I don't mind looking at resort grounds if I'm looking at a beautiful pool in a tropical setting with lots of flowers. Second to that, I'd take the mountain view!

An additional thing to consider at this property is where your room is located. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view room, which was nice...However, it was quite far away from most of the things on property that we used, like the pool, spa, Swan Court. When I stay there again, my room request will be based more on location than view. To answer your question, any of these views would be fine. Not considering location, I would probably choose Mountain View because you would likely get a higher room.

What is the difference between "mountain view" and "golf course" view. When you are looking toward the golf course you are also looking toward the mountians. Maybe the difference is altitude as Tasha440 suggests.

They have some rooms that face the parking lot, and I am sure they do not list these rooms as "parking lot view". I would call the hotel directly and ask specific questions, as to view in relation to their parking lot, and location in regard to their pool.

I agree to call the hotel directly. Years ago, we had an ocean view room, which overlooked the Japanese gardens and Swan Court and it was absolutely beautiful. Another couple had a mountain view room and it overlooked the parking lot. Another had a golf course view and it overlooked some rooftops (as well as the golf course in the distance.) It pays to check it out.

The golf course there is not really one of your prettier courses - so that would be my last choice. The grounds of the Hyatt are beautiful so a garden view would not be bad. My first choice would be the mountain view - the sun comes up over the mountain in the morning - a great sight. But don't worry - there is SO much to do in Maui - you will spend very little time in your room!

We had mountain view. I was disappointed initially, but soon realized it was probably best (for us). As much as I love the water and ocean, I loved looking at the mountains, the constantly changing light on the slopes, and rainbow after awesome rainbow. It was absolutely beautiful, and dolciani is right...you won't be in your room for much, and then you probably won't be lookin' at whatever!
