Maui hotels with kitchen

We are travelling to Maui from June 29 to July 8 .Wanted recommendations for some decent hotels with kitchen preferably around the kaanapalli beach area. few I saw were

Kannapalli beach hotel
royal lahaina
outrigger eldarado

or condos would be better. Its just me and my husband traveling. price range 140-200$ per day.

Are their packages with car a much better option to go with?

any suggestions

Also check out the Napili Sunset. Fairly plain but right on the Ocean with a lawn in front: http://www.napilisunset.com/

And you can best determine if something is a better deal or not - after you get the cost of a rental car. Also - don't forget to check www.vrbo.com,

My family all (9 people) stayed at Lahaina Shores and liked it. I think it's in your price range. It's condos so the units were quite different one to the next, but all OK. Some have ocean, some mountain views. It's at the edge of town, so you can easily walk into the center of Lahaina. Small pool out back on a lawn. Very narrow beach.

Maui has plentiful excellent condos. You can find the ones in your price range by looking on vrbo.com. They are listed by the area.

We got a good rate at the Marriott Ocean Club. I love the location. Walking distance to Whaler Village. The unit at a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster and coffee maker.

I just checked - the cheapest rate for the OP's dates is $399 per night.

Look at aerials and read reviews here: www.wizardpub.com Why do you want Kaanapali? If you want to tour Maui's sights, that's easier from South Maui.

Everybody has their preferred location - and ours is actually just north of Kaanapali - at either Kapalua or Napili.

Kiehei seems just too busy to me, but then again, I go back to the days when it wasn't nearly as built up.
