Maui Discount Books

I'll be spending my honeymoon in Maui in July and I'm looking for a good discount book for entertainment, dining, activities, etc. I've looked through the Entertainment book for Hawaii, but there isn't much for Maui. I've
also viewed the website for the Maui iQcard and the Maui discount pack by the maui-Info.com. Are you familiar with either, and which is the better value? Is it even worth purchasing one of these discount books as I've heard that people will hand you coupon books at the airport?

Lisa,

Try "maui.org", for the AOA Gold Card. I think it's one of the best deals for discounts on some of the top-quality things on Maui. Of course, with Entertainment, if you use it for half-price on your hotel, it pays for itself many times over, even if you don't use it for another thing. But I would only get it for a trip to Maui if I was using it for my hotel (which is what we always do!) Good luck!

Lani,
Thanks for the info. Are you familar with the other cards I mentioned thought (iQcard, Quest card, Maui discount pack)? I already booked my hotel, air and car, so I'm looking for discounts for mainly activities and dining.

Lisa,

I have a Quest card - that won't help you with dining and activities on Maui. The other two that you mention, I'm not familiar with. But there will be a zillion free tourist brochures and magazines on the airport racks when you deplane - just pick up one of each, and they're loaded with coupons. Some of the discounts from the AOA Gold Card, you can't get with anyone else - they're top quality businesses, like the Old Lahaina Luau, which is the best. Believe me, you'll find more good coupons, free, than you could ever use on the average visit there! Have a great trip!

Aloha Lisa. I am a long-time resident of Lahaina, Maui. As I have mentioned here before, whenever company makes plans to visit Maui, I have them make two purchases: 1)The Maui-Info.com "Maui Info Pack," and 2) The Maui Aloha (Discount Pack.) They're just $9.95 each. Order both at the same time and they're shipped together, saving you one S&H charge. Mention the FREE Maui video, and it is shipped for just the S&H fee of $4.50. The coupons in the Discount Pack have no expiration dates. Go to http://www.Maui-Info.com/maui-info.html for further information. If I can help you with any other Maui-related questions, please don't hesitate.
