Maui Air Fare/Rate
 

Just getting started planing trip, what would be a reasonable airline rate from San Francisco or Oakland Calfi. to Maui. What would be a deal and where should I find one.

Lvoe all the info I have gotten so far, but am more confused than ever where to stay. To many choices.

I do not know what the airfare would be like from San Francisco as we live in Canada but the Royal Mauian Resort is a nice place in Kihei. It is located between two beachs and is ocean front. The web site is www.royalmauian.com. That is where we are headed for in three days.

Check Aloha airlines from Oakland.

I consider anything under $400 a good rate from SFO or OAK to OGG. A deal is what my sister-in-law paid last year $280 OAK-OGG but this was a last minute Suntrips charter special. I would sign up for emails from Aloha and Hawaiian. Usually if there's a fare sale, it doesn't take very long for all the other airlines to match it but sometimes the sale only lasts a few days or a week.

My girlfriend just got the same $280 last minute suntrips charter fare for December 5-12th out of SFO.

Thanks for the infor, I am going to look, I can't wait for last minute as I want to make sure I have a flight, but if you see any at 280.00 now that I can book. LET ME KNOW!

Looks like $400 is about the best through Pleasant Holidays. They go up and down all the time. Check often.

Don't know if the following info would be useful for your Maui plans (I saw it on Travelzoo.com:
SunTrips has January fares to Hawaii. Book by January 6, and flights are $99 out of Oakland, California. Prices are each way, and based on a roundtrip purchase.
Honolulu (Oahu):
Departures January 5, 11, 13, and 16
Return January 9, 11, 20, 23, or 25
Maui:
Departures January 1, 10, 11, and 17
Return January 9, 17, 23, 24, or 25

There are limited departures to Kauai and the Big Island for $99 each way, and return flights are slightly higher. Package vacations with air, hotel, and ground transport are available for all islands.

Offer is valid for new bookings taken Tuesday December 30th through Tuesday January 6th.

Check travelzoo.com. They are listing some great airfaires, but I'm not sure when you are going...
