Try this link
http://www.crhmaui.com/
I have stayed at the Hale Pau Hana was great right on the beach. the KIHEI AKAHI is right across the street and a bit cheaper but I did not stay there.

I stayed at the Noelani condominiums in between Kahana and Kaanapali. They were nice, oceanfront and really reasonable. I think a 1 br is about 150.00 per night or so. It sleeps 4. The website is www.noelani-condo-resort.com . You may want to try a travel agent and ask about hotel only. Somtimes some of those kihei condo's offer deals like one night free etc. Good luck

We stayed at the Aston Maui Lu in Kihei. If you stay on the oceanfront side (across the street) its very nice and cheap! Try going to www.biddingfortravel.com and learn to use Priceline to get a great deal. Eat at Charley's in Paia for breakfast. I wish I could eat there all the time. Great food! Order one pancake its the size of a plate.

Brian, try the Sugar Beach Resort in North Kihei. We stayed there for two weeks in September and loved it. The prices are very reasonable; we paid only about $125 per night (off-season rates) for our ocean-front one-bedroom unit. The location is great (away from the hustle-bustle of most of Kihei), and there's a pool, whirlpool, and BBQ grills, not to mention great snorkeling right in front of the resort (lots of coral). The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Go for it, and have a wonderful trip!
