Amtrak?

Greyhound?

Exactly...that's what I'm trying to find out - it seems that Amtrak may not go that route. When I type in the stations, I get an error message. Does anyone know? Otherwise, has anyone taken the greyhound - I hear it's a long, overnight trip.

Pittsburgh is served by the Pennsylvanian from New York and the Capitol Limited from Washington, DC. You can get to either from Boston or Route 128 or Springfield.

But the problem is that Pennsylvanian leaves NYC at 9:55am, which is too early to connect from MA. Therefore, the best bet is to take a Northeast Corridor (6:05am from Boston) train to Washington (~8 hours), and then take the Capitol Limited (dep. 3:55p, arr 11:33p). Whole trip from Boston will take about 18 hours, $126.

Greyhound would be the better choice. 13 hours via a conncetion in NYC. $73, and you can leave from Worcester.
