Mason Ohio...what is there for a few hours?
 

Going to the Cinci Wine Fest this weekend and am going to be stuck in Mason Ohio near Kings Island in a hotel for about 4 hours. We are at the Comfort Suites there....any shopping or points of interest within walking distance? btw....I'm used to walking 5-8 miles/day.

Nothing. Everything to do around Kings Island happens in the summer. KI, The Beach, Tennis and Golf Tournaments, scenic river canoeing.

There is a Showcase Cinema down the road from the hotel as well as a new Great Wolf Lodge with an indoor water park and also a Harley Davidson store next door.

No shopping.

I'm not sure exactly where you are staying and although I wouldn't want to walk it, you might check out how far it would be to Deerfield Towne Center or even to Lebanon (a great small town with unique shops).

That's pretty tough. Do you have a car? Will you be heading to the airport (CVG) after the 4 hours?
You could always just stay downtown and kill time there. To be honest, Mason is a nice suburb, but like many suburbs, it is rather unexceptional.

Is Jungle Jim's anywhere near there? Fun food.

Thanks guys. That's the prob...my husband has the car. I think I'll have him drop me off downtown. That , or I could sit through Borat twice. Again.
Gretchen...I LOVE Jungle Jim's!!!! I could spend a whole year's salary there.
