Marriott Copley Place, Boston

I have received a rate of $149 p/nite. Is this a decent rate or should I look for better. Also, if you could provide comparison's for this hotel vs Weston Copley I would appreciate it.
Thanks a bunch!

If you don't take that rate, Please give it to me!

Copley Marriott is wonderful. Great location, restaurants, rooms, service.
Was lucky enough to stay overnight there for one night for a corporate conference a year ago. The next year it was moved to the Cambridge Royal Sonesta, and everyone was asking if we could go back to the Marriott!

Never have stayed at the Westin, but my impression is that it is a little notch above the Marriott. Depends on what you want from your trip- the location is the same, but do you want that little something extra that maybe the Westin will provide, but then again you do have a great rate at one of Boston's better hotels and my decision would be to -
BOOK IT!
Enjoy- and eat at Giacomo's in the NOrth End if you like Italian- the BEST, but they don't take credit cards.

I suppose that's a great rate as opposed to booking directly or via some resources. But, we're staying at the Swissotel this weekend for $85 (Priceline) and have stayed recently at the Back Bay Hilton for $65, the Meridien for $105, etc., through Hotwire. I've also heard that there are some real bargains at the Lenox, while the exterior is being refurbished.

That's all very nice, Donna, but the three you mentioned are either poorly located or not as nice as the Marriott and Westin.
So I'm not sure that your cheaper rate was any better "deal".
I'd gladly pay $250 a night at the Four Seasons over $80 at le Meridien.
Depends on what you're getting for your money.
