Marriott Copley? or Westin?

I am planning a 6 day trip to Boston in July and have narrowed down the hotel choices to the Marriott Copley Place or the Westin Copley Place. Any ideas about which one would be better? Thanks in advance for your expert advice! :)

Westin, they have great beds and showers!

The location is identical (and extremely good) -- the Westin and Marriott are at opposite ends of the same shopping complex (Copley Place). And I agree with milkeway4 that the Westin has excellent beds & showers.

Both are comfortable and fairly modern, and neither is especially exceptional or memorable. So I'd go with the Westin unless the Marriott is offering a significantly better price.

Thank you for the good information. The room at the Marriott is about $85 cheaper per night, so we're kindof leaning in that direction. I'm sure its not quite as nice as the Westin, but the location looks good for us. Thanks again for your help!

I have a conference in Boston every other year or so at the Marriott. The Westin is definitely the best hotel of the ones in that area. (and there are about 20) But at $85 difference, it's not worth it. The Marriott is fine, and improved since the reonnovations about 3-4 years ago.
