Mariposa Grove (Yosemite) opens 6/15/18
 

After about 3 years of closure, Mariposa Grove with about 500 mature Giant Sequioias will reopen tomorrow morning in the southern part of of Yosemite National Park. . Anyone who was planning on going to Sequoia/Kings Canyon to see large Sequoias, should consider seeing Mariposa Grove instead of SEK. This should be welcome news to people who have limited time and would rather see all of Yosemite.
Is there any news on when the Tioga Pass will be open into Yosemite from the east?
