Mariners Spring Training

Does anyone have information on packages from Seattle to Phoenix for spring training 2004? Where have you stayed in the past? Thanks

We love spring traing and plan to go again this year! We haven't done a package before, just have gotten great airfare on Alaska, then pricelined a hotel and purchased our tickets ahead of time via the web.

Ahhhhhh sun and ballgames! :)

The hotels right around the park are pretty much booked up by now. I know the La Quinta is booked solid. You don't really need a package. Just get air, get your tickets and start looking for a hotel right now. Try any hotel along or near Bell Rd in Peoria if you want to be close to the park.

You might try this website:

We get discounted airfare to watch our SF Giants. Also, go to google and type in 'Spring Training" and you will see many other sites.

Actually I'm going to ask a question too! Last year we caught the M's on the road in Tucson. This year we are going to Phoenix. How far is the drive to the stadium in Peoria if we want to stay in Phoenix??

Peoria is not far from Phoenix - new freeway the whole way. If you can get a package that is a good price, then I would do that, but it should be no problem to make your own package.

Does Southwest Airlines fly to Seattle? If so, the take advantage of their current sale.

I would look at seeing games at several of the spring training parks - they are all easy to get to.
