Marina Inn-been there?
I would like some information from someone who has stayed there recently.

Which city, Sandy?

If this is the Marina Inn on Lombard and Octavia in San Francisco, we stayed there a number of years ago. The location isn't particularly good for public transportation, on the other hand for people who don't mind awalking a bit it's great! We liked it... it is small, almost B&B feel, nice rooms [we had a 5th floor rear that had a view of Russian Hill] and if the prices are still as reasonable as they were it's worth it. <BR>Note: there is a Cambodian restaurant nearby on Lombard, Angor Wat I think, that is very special.

Sorry John, I meant the Marina Inn in San Francisco. Can get it for $95 a night. What do you think?
|
I moved away from SF several years ago, so I'm not one to judge SF hotels at this point. I will say that $95 is a great rate at any SF property, though! A friend of mine just stayed at a Marina District property called the del Sol and loved it...think the rate was similar.

My husband and I spent one night in Marina Inn on Monday July 3,2000. The Inn was very pleasant. Breakfast is served on the second floor and there is a coffee shop at street level. The price is reasonable. We paid $95 before hotel tax. Close to Fisherman's Wharf. We took the muni and it was pretty easy.
