Mardi Gras on Hawaii?
 

I just realized that I'll be in Hawaii for Mardi Gras and I'm curious if it's celebrated there at all. I'll be at the Hitlon Waikoloa on the Big Island that day.

Doubt that Hawai`i island will be celebrating Mardi Gras -- but check the official visitors' calendar for updates:

I'm not expecting parades or anything, just if there are bars or restaurants that do anything special.
I live in Philly. There's a bar here called Fat Tuesdays that obviously celebrates it, and the whole area around gets into it also. It actually gets out of control some years (not that I'm looking for that kind of scene either!)

Hawaii's Mardi Gras is in Lahaina Town on Halloween.
