i'll be going to the marco island marriott for 1 week februar 22 - march 1. How is the construction there. is the main pool totally completed with renovations, are the rooms renovated. is the place a big constructions site?? what exactly will we see or notice as far as construction???

I would like to know this information also.

We stayed there over the holiday's and were very unimpressed./\ The renovations were much needed, and they are behind schedule. The noise and the dust was almost too much. My husband wanted to check out, but other hotels in the area were sold out.<BR><BR>Maybe the construction will be done in Feb, but I doubt it.

Have stayed there many times in the last 20 years.It has gotten outrageous in pricing for the facility.Rooms, food, etc. service was bad last time we were there ( a year ago) Beach is nice, but not great. Have you considered Sanibel/Captiva or a private condo or home rental? It is season, but you may do better with a little searching!!

Why don't you check out the Hilton? We were told the Marriott was wonderful, but we actually prefered the Hilton. It is smaller, but lovely!
