Marco Island info
OK so we have our condo booked last week of June in Marco Island Fl. Would love some suggestions/info on the best things to do. We plan on renting a boat and checking out the islands but that is about it. Also any recs on places to eat and also where to go play golf and not have to take out a loan. Thanks in advance!

Golf should be cheap since golf courses have been grossly overbuilt. but I don't golf so can't give specifics.
What I do know a little bit about is the Ten Thousand Islands, which are fascinating and dangerous if you are not equipped with good navigation gear that you know how to use. One mangrove cluster looks an awful lot like the next one. There are 10,000 of 'em.

Other then perhaps renting mopeds, it's pretty much a beach town. Theyi'll be jet ski rentals and the hotels will have the banana boat rentals and parasailing, but that's about it. There are outlets not too far away, (off the island). We always take a day trip to Naples, which is only about 35 minutes away. Enjoy your stay.
