Marco Island: Hilton or Marriott?
 

My wife and I will be spending a few days in mid October at Marco Island, FL. We are looking for any feedback on whether to stay at the Marriott or Hilton.

Stayed at the Marriott several years ago and absolutely loved it. gorgeous property with an extremely helpful staff. Nice beach, nice tennis courts, and clean spacious rooms. Highly recommend it. <BR>

Stayed at the Hilton a couple years ago. I would echo Lori's comments. Another nice touch was a deck overlooking the beach with big rocking chairs for watching sunsets.

Marriott, hands down. Quinn's on the Beach is fun for meals, better beachside service, well maintained hotel that was the first hotel built on Marco about 30 years ago. Perfect time to be there. Gulf is warm, air is drying out, mad crush of tourists and snowbirds not there yet.
