March break for grownups

Hi All,

I'm looking for a somewhat warm (65-80 F) place to go for March Spring break (third week) for two middle aged adults who like to see sights, shop, and eat. We must have a pool but not necessarily the beach (though that would be nice). Mainly, we want to avoid the massive college crowds. We live in the northeast so will be flying, most likely renting a car as well. Our budget for a hotel would like to stay under $200/night - flexible dependent upon all-inclusive or not.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

80 degree weather and under $200 for spring break-- good luck with that one.

Florida, Hawaii, and Caribean Islands are about the only places with that kind of weather in March.

If you could skip the pool, maybe San Diego or San Francisco.

Punta Cana might be your best bet.

Charleston, SC. 65 more than 85 though. The area should be ramping up for 150 anniversary of the start of the Civil War at Ft. Sumpter.

Sally, thought about charleston, though not a fan of Civil War stuff, particularly the southern slant :)
