If you pick Sun. on hopstop, it's possible that's the reason. Bus rtes and subway can be different on weekends. Have you tried getting directions from maps.google.com? Wonder what they say.

I'd just take a car service for both legs.

The #7 train plus the Q27 bus can be accomplished on one fare for a total of $2.25. As you suspect, I think QCC recommends it for the proximity of the bus stop.

maps.google had all sorts of ways--some of which involved walking as long as 22 minutes to QCC--which I'd rather not choose in case it's raining.

I've given my cousin all the info I've gathered--and now I'll let her decide.
