I know this has been posted in the past but can't seem to find it.
Is black still everywhere?

Rain coat?

Everyone is wearing mock turtlenecks under lederhosen with pink patent rain boots. Do NOT wear black.

:-)

What to wear in Manhattan? AAAAAAAnything you want to.

LOL LOL O my God, am I NOT the person to be answering this. I have humiliated myself on many continents. In fact, I have an absolute gift for wearing the wrong thing just about everywhere. Pay me no mind, berniekern. I has been a long, long day.

Old lady with baby boomers? What does this mean?

Black is always "in" and is easy to travel with since it doesn't show mishaps, but spring is making an entrance and you'll also see lots of color. Agree that layers are best and make sure to bring comfortable shoes for daytime sightseeing.

Comfortable walking shoes, rain coat or jacket and a couple of sweaters to layer. If you mean style - it's easy - watch any TV show set in New York. (Note the very small number of adults wearing giant white clown sneakers, baseball caps and tee shirts with funny sayings.)

Clothing should be appropriate to your age, style and what activities you will be doing/places you will be going.

Hi,

I would wear black on the bottom and any color on top......the weather in april is very unpredictable.....i would suggest twin sweater sets or pantsuits ......take an extra cardigan to layer up under a lined raincoat....add a scarf and you should be ready for any weather......good walking shoes are a must... enjoy your trip !!!! New Yorkers tend to be in either business attire or very very casual clothes such as jogging pants and hoodies........unless you are planning to go to a formal event, almost anything is OK these days
