Manhattan Hotels
 

Looking for some reasonably priced hotels ($100-$150 a night)in the Manhattan area. Will be attending an event at the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex and would like to find something between there and Times Square.<BR><BR>

I can suggest Hotel Stanford on 32nd off Broadway. They have a web site with photos and information... you can do a search for it. I just paid $140 per night plus tax (total of $150). I believe it's just about midway between the two areas you are looking for and it's in Little Korea. Macy's and Manhattan Mall are one block away and it's a short walk to 42nd and Times Square.<BR><BR>I have also heard people mention Red Roof Inn, which is not very old, at the other end of the block off 5th Avenue. I hear their rooms are around $100 per night.<BR><BR>Good luck. I'm sure you'll see lots more suggestions given here.
