Mandalay Bay Question

Wife and I are going to Vegas in April. The Manadlay Bay is offering a 109 deal on a regular room and 35 extra for a suite upgrade. Has anyone stayed there? Is the upgrade worth it. We've picked the MB mostly because of their pool area. Stayed at the Bellagio last month. Major jackhammer work at the pool area our whole visit . . won't be going back.
Any advice on the pool area would be appreciated.

The suites are very nice with large bathrooms and probably worth it. The pool area is the signature of Mandalay Bay. Great! My favorite of the hotels in Vegas.

Thanks for the info. Will put in the request for the upgrade, wife loves large bathrooms. :-)

I really enjoyed the mandalay bay, it has the best pool area with a tube float sort of ride thing (how else does one describe that?)...my room was very nice (I don't think they upgraded me, if they did I didn't know about it) the room was comparable to the venetians though and I didn't know if all the rooms were as nice. MB also has probably the best combination of restaurants of all the resorts.

We were upgraded to a honeymoon suite and it pretty swanky. His and Hers sinks, jacuzzi, stand up shower. Very large room, nice view. In general, Mandalay Bay is cool hotel. Definitely my favorite in Vegas.

What dates in April were you able to get such a great rate? How did you get the rate? Thanks!
Tracey

Mandalay Bay - Great hotel!

Check out a real good steak place next door at the Four Seasons while you're there.

My husband I stayed in a suite at Mandalay Bay and I would highly recommend it. It was a huge room (no separate bedroom) with a dining area, large sitting area and big bathroom. I think you will really enjoy it.

It is worth the extra $35
