Visit the Currier Gallery of Art and theNH Institute of Art. Eat at Baldwin's on Elm St. or/and Richard's Bistro.

The Frank Lloyd Wright House (contact through The Currier Gallery of Art) is a must; interesting restaurant in the historic mills, e. side of the Merrimack, is Cotton's - and not too expensive. Parking available, or could walk from a downtown hotel. Need to make a res.in advance for FLW house.

If you have time take a ride up to the White Mountains to see teh old Man in the Mountain. Or you take a ride down to Boston.

After a long wait, Manchester has two quite good restaurants: Baldwins on Elm (622-5975) and Richard's Bistro (right around the corner from Baldwin's)on Lowell Street), 644-1180. There is also a restaurant called Cotton; I haven't been, but I've heard good things about it. If you have a car, you might head out to the Bedford Village Inn, minutes from downtown. As mentioned above, the Currier is a gem if you have time.
