what makes it so good? I am in charge of booking the trip to Hawaii in its entirity...itinerary, restaurants, etc... for my parents in March. I want to make sure I have good picks.

Wonderful ambiance. Attentive service. Fresh fish, very well prepared and presented. It's no more expensive than other high end restaurants on Maui. My young girls really liked the powder room-and the parrots.

Nice oceanfront atmosphere and very fresh fish. However, I didn't think that it was any better than some other Maui restaurants. The best seafood I had was at I'O in Lahaina.

I've eaten there. It was good and the atmosphere was really nice. We walked around outside and it was a lovely atmosphere. I probably ordered the wrong thing - it was a local fish that was too soft for my liking. It wasn't the best meal of our trip but I would probably give it another shot if I were on Maui again. I love the little town it is near (Pa'ia).

I've eaten here about 4 or 5 times. Always have had wonderful food, and this includes satisfying kids, vegetarians and otherwise picky eaters (not all at the same meal of course!).

The service is very friendly, but can be a bit slow on occasion. This is the kind of place you want to relax and stay for a while anyway.

The grounds are lovely. Some people like to eat lunch here, so they can watch the waves. I prefer an early dinnner. Daylight when you arrive to walk around, then the dining area gets much more romantic and intimate when it is dark outside. Try and get a table with a view.

I feel it is definitely worth the cost. I never go to Maui without eating here!

As I write this, my mouth is watering with the memory of the macadamia nut crusted sauteed mahi mahi that I had when I was there last. Worth every penny!!!!!
