Mall close to O'Hare?

I have a 9h stop over in Chicago and would like to go to a mall. Please tell me if there is a mall close to O'Hare and the most convinient way to get there. Thank you in advance!

oak brook mall is close its prob 20 miles from ohare. you could take a taxi which is prob more expensive but there is also probably a bus that runs close to the mall. at the airport there will be numerous transportation options to choose from.

If you have 9 hours, you could take the CTA Blue Line downtown. The trip would take about an hour and cost $2 each way. You could either shop in the loop or Michigan Avenue, spend some time in the Art Institute or just stroll along the lake.

Wouldn't Woodfield Mall be a lot closer to O'Hare than Oak Brook Center? I live very close to Oak Brook Center (about 2 miles) and to the best of my knowledge, there's no bus that runs from here to O'Hare. When I took a taxi home from the airport in April, it cost $25. $50 round trip seems a bit steep for a shopping trip!

Woodfield Mall is a lot closer with shuttles going to and from the airport. It's a huge place with lots of restaurants. Downtown Chicago is more fun, but if you don't feel like going that far, Woodfield would be closer than Oak Brook. Here's a link to Woodfield:
