Makahuena/Poipu Beach condos
 

I was wondering if anyone has stayed at these castle property condos recently? I have booked a 2 bedroom and one bedroom over the christmas holiday for my family. <BR><BR>Will it be crowded with kids and family at that time? Is it run down?<BR><BR>Any information would be greatly appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanks

I've never stayed there, but I'd suspect Makhuena can't be TOO rundown as they were badly hit by the hurricane and condo owners had to replace all their carpets and furnishings.

Makahuena is located on a rocky point at the ocean's edge.(Long walk or short drive to the beach.) Not terribly appealing from the street but may be great inside. have friends who stayed there and had no complaints.

We stayed there a few years back and if the property has stayed about the same, it was a great place. Right on the rocks where you can look down and watch sea turtles.
