Try Shaw's Wharf in New Harbor, down the Pemaquid peninsula. Beautiful view over a working harbor.

If, your in the Boothbay Harbor region, catch the boat to Bailey's Island. The pier is right on the waterfront, downtown. This is a privately owned island. The family puts on clambakes, two times a day. Besides getting two lobsters and all the fixings, the meal starts off with a great fish chowder. If, you have room, they serve a blueberry cake for dessert. The boat ride and clambake, are priced very resonably. When, the locals attend, they usually take a small cooler, because they can't finish the whole meal. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

I'm sorry.
The island for the clambake, is Cabbage Island,in Boothbay Harbor.
Bailey's Island, is also a pretty spot, but if you want a traditional New England clambake.
Go to Pier 6 and buy your ticket, for $59.95.
Cabbage Island clambakes, also has a website.

Second for Waterman's. Wear a hat and sunglasses if you'd like a picnic table next to the water. Walk off lunch with an easy hike to Owls Head Light (great views once you're there).
Five Islands. Again, very basic but nice views.
Haven't been to Shaw's in years but it's a great drive to get there and you can visit Pemaquid point lighthouse too.
The very best view is to do your own picnic on top of Mt Battie which overlooks Camden Harbor. Bring binnoculars and bag chairs. We usually pack deli meat sandwiches, maybe vanilla yogurt and fresh blueberries. Then do a seafood supper someplace. You could find crabmeat salad.
No view but keep on the lookout for a benefit, church or grange lobster supper. Check local papers. Some may pre-sell tickets. Went to one near Waterman's on a dismal day that was held under a tent. One lobster, choice of mussels or crab, chips, cole slaw, beverage for a reasonable price. Pie was extra. They also sold extra lobsters not just dinners. We're big fans of community suppers.
