I don't know where in LV he is but the Dutch magician Hans Klok has a show with Pamela Anderson as his assistent. I saw him years ago when he was just starting out and he was very good then, so I imagine he still is, to have a show in Vegas.

Hans final show was on dec.8 thanx for trying ...Rhettski

Lance Burton.

They are all nice, here a bunch of info about vegas magic shows that might be useful: http://www.smartervegas.com/shows/hy...and_magic.aspx

Mac King has an afternoon magic show that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and it's funny to boot.
Dirk Arthur does a good afternoon show at the Tropicana. |
Lance Burton is great, particularly the first half of his show which is 'close-up' magic. Get a good seat.

My son and I really enjoyed Lance Burton's show a few years back when he was 13 yrs. old. And it's at the Monte Carlo close the the MGM Grand.

Hi, I knew that there had been a very similar thread just a few weeks ago....here it is. Hope it helps.

The thread socialworker posted, also gives many votes for Lance Burton.

When I saw Lance Burton several years ago, I felt he was walking through his show on auto-pilot and couldn't wait to go someplace else to have a little fun. I like the smaller shows, such as I mentioned earlier, and I think your son will too. |
I wish that I could remember exactly what year it was that we saw Lance Burton but I am rather certain that it was 7 years ago or less.....We had the great good fortune of being in the front row and I am sure that affected our perception of everything. However, to me he was the consummate showman in the best sense of the word. He was a really good magician but even more, he was a real entertainer. Also, the theater in which he performs is really lovely.... not one of those airplane hangar type affairs that so many Vegas shows use.
I have no way of knowing if more recently he is getting tired or if happytrails saw him on an off night when he may have been coming down w/the flu! :) |
We weren't sitting as close to the stage as I would have liked, and I'm sure we missed much of the "close-up" magic. Then, one must wonder, why the show isn't in a room the size that everybody who buys a ticket can enjoy the whole show.
This may be one reason I prefer the afternoon shows in the small venues. |
