Magellan's
You are right. Magellan's does have a lot of good travel stuff. But you might want to comparison shop. Eagle Creek products are about 20% less is retail luggage store (check the nearest mall) and I got a "Freedom Bag" from QVC for $28 which is is the new Magellan's for $49. I would recommend reviewing Magellan's for ideas and then GO SHOPPING!

Magellan's is incredibly convenient. I got this travel-safe purse, with disguised wire straps, looks nice, and is a good size. To be honest I am not going to go hunting for a travel handbag to save $20 when I already found EXACTLY what I wanted.
P.S. Yes, I did notice this is an 11-yr old post. Magellans still current as back then. |
You topped an eleven year old thread on purpose???
weird |
I lot of things have changed in 11 years. Not sure a 1996 post about a product/vendor is worth commenting on.

This has to be some sort of new record, LOL.
|
I got you talking, didn't I? :-D
The fact that the OP is an 11-year old post about a travel company that is still going strong is definitely a meaningful statement on its own (sorry to others that I had to explain the obvious....!) |
Huh?
|
Oh my gosh! That was me!
Would you "go shopping" if you received a significant discount and free shipping for exactly the same item? Magellan's is often deft at omitting brand names and models, but you can usually figure them out. Last time I shopped Magellan's online, their ordering process was dreadful. |
I placed an order on Mafgellans.com and three days later the item was sitting on my porch. I think I spent about 3 minutes (and on my pajamas) in the whole process.
Shopping in my pajamas? Priceless. |
I've shopped Magellan's for years. I wish my Magellan luggage would wear out so I could buy some new pieces. I place an order a couple of times a year and not just for travel.
