Madalay Bay vs THE Hotel MB
 

Hi
can anyone share their thoughts on the differences/similarites between these two hotels?

I am under the impression that they share the same casino, pools, shops etc so why the difference in price? I am trying to pick between the 2 for a trip in July (2 adults)I have stayed at Bally's and Luxor before and wanted something a little "nicer"

We stayed at TheHotel last summer--it's an awesome hotel. TheHotel has a separate entrance from MB and the lobby is small and uncrowded. The whole hotel is very New York contemporary, yet warm. We ended up being upgraded to a penthouse suite--absolutely fabulous.

I think the main difference (other than upgraded decor) is the intimate feel of TheHotel. You don't even feel like you're in Vegas until you step into MB's casino--a very nice getaway and respite from the craziness that is Vegas.

Yes, that's right. TheHotel does have its own cafe, though, but we didn't eat there so I can't give it a review.

Do you feel the price difference is worth it?

That's a good question--if it's just $20-30 more a night, then yes, it's probably worth it. I haven't stayed at MB, though, so I shouldn't say.

FYI--MB's spa is out of this world wonderful--much better than TheHotel's.
