Lynchburg, VA
I have a last minute overnight to Lynchburg planned for tomorrow night. I've never been to that part of the state so I'd love restaurant recommendations for dinner and breakfast if anyone has some. Thanks.

Thanks, Janet! That was one of the places I was looking at. I wanted a room at the inn there but, alas, nothing is available. It looks like a cool place.

We ended up having dinner at a restaurant called The Neighbors Place. It was just ok. Shoemakers and a second restaurant I had looked at, Robin Alexander, were heavy on the surf and turf in their menus and were a little bit more dressy than we were in the mood for. We had a great breakfast in an old storefront downtown called Market at Main. The lunch and dinner menus looked interesting too.
Thanks again, Janet. |
We have only eaten at the Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse of all places :)

I like to find local places mom, but if I'm doing chains, those are two that I've found have good food. I like the salmon at Texas Roadhouse.
