LV Zion Bryce/what else?
 

We are landing in Las Vegas on April 30 and planning to spend 2 nights there. We are flying home on May 7. We would like to see Zion and Bryce. What else should we include? <BR><BR>Bobbie

While in Vegas....go to the Hoover Dam. On the way to Zion.....stop off at the Valley of Fire.

Definitely see the Valley of Fire. Didn't even know about it when we did the same trip last month--just stopped by accident because we were coming back down the highway in the morning and saw the sign. I'm not sure how much far it is, but we did Monument Valley after a stop in Las Vegas. Beautiful!

From Mount Carmel Junction (where you will go on you way back from Bryce to Vegas anyways) to Monument Valley is 220 miles one way. I wouldn't recommend doing all that driving.<BR><BR>I would suggest Lake Powell which is only 90 miles from Mount Carmel Junction.<BR><BR>Another idea would be to travel Scenic Hwy 12 from Bryce to Boulder, Utah. This is an amazing 70 miles. You will enjoy the drive back over the same 70 miles it is so beautiful!<BR><BR>Valley of Fire has already been mentioned but it's great too.<BR><BR>Utahtea<BR><BR>
