What is your opinion of the following hotels?

Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Bally's, Golden Nugget, Rio, Riviera and Flamingo?

How far from the strip is Flamingo?
Does the Rio have a health club?

What above hotels have little or no kids? Thanks

bellagio..top of the line
Mandalay Bay...not far underneath
Bally's...stay at MB before this place
Rio is off the strip
don't know about Riviera
Flamingo is the older hotel but is center strip...great location
Golden Nugget is downtown, nice to visit but don't stay there

MB is at far south end of strip but trams and taxis will get you anywhere

all hotels have kids...they won't bother you if you avoid eye contact

Bellagio will have the fewest kids.

Bellagio is rated #1 and will have the highest prices; therefore, you can almost bet on the fewest kids.
The Golden is located in DOWNTOWN, not on the Strip; very nice rooms as it's a Mirage property (if remember correctly); has moderate prices.
You need to read from the following websites:

www.cheapovegas.com

Don't be put off completely by the name; Casino Boy writes in an irrevant style but has excellent room descriptions as well as maps; etc.

www.lvol.com

If you can't find what you want at the above website; you don't need it -- massive amount of info.

The Rio has a health club and spa

On a scale of 1-10, Bellagio is a 9.5, Mandaly an 8, Flamingo a 6, Bally's a 5.5, Rio is a 7 and I can't rate GN because I've never stayed there and would never want to stay downtown (it's dying).
Oh, and Riviera? A 2 on a good day when there's no bum vomit to step over in the parking lot.
Flamingo is smack in the middle of the strip, so the answer to 'how far is it from the strip' is: a shorter distance than you can toss one of the local midget Elvis impersonators roaming around.
Bellagio forbids all kids who are not with parent-guests.

Interesting that your not considering the Venetian. Best rooms of the bunch. Not many kids either except when people are wandering around during the day. Bellagio is very nice (spent 5 days there last summer). Bally's is aged, Mandalay not bad. No help on the others.
