Luxury soaps in Honolulu?

Hi all, I am a sucker for beautiful soaps and recently bought some 'Michel Design Works' products whilst on holiday in mainland US. Will be in Honolulu soon and would love to stock up on some more as they are difficult to access in OZ and twice the price.
Any suggestions on where they might be sold?
Thanks in anticipation.

I see they are sold online at Amazon and several other sites. Buy some and have them sent ahead to your hotel in Hawaii.

Good thought but we are staying in a private condo within a hotel, not sure about accepting deliveries? Will check that option out though, thanks.

Here's a list of their reps. You could call (email?) Jan Bixler to ask which stores carry them.

Apparently a store called "Sand People" - does anyone know it?

Thanks starrs, they have a couple of stores and a website but what I am after in particular doesn't feature in their "online store" range so I wondered if anyone had actually been in or if any local can comment?
I have emailed but no reply so far.

I'm glad to see that there is someone else who buys luxury soaps! I like a soap from Maui, but can't tell you the brand name. I just know it by the packaging. I found it on the big island once, on the Hilo side of the island. I like the coconut/guava/papaya 'flavors' best. Hoping to buy more of this soap in just another week, as I'm headed to HNL and KOA.

Another super favorite is/was Mokosoi soap from Fiji. I bought it there, on two separate trips, and then found it available on line. Now I can't find it anymore. The coconut was really nice!

Good luck in your search, ozgirl.

Sand People is a WONDERFUL shop!!! I love their selection of souveniers and gifts. There's one right in central Waikiki near the beach on the main street

Also don't limit yourself to that one brand you are looking for. For example I love Island Soap & Candleworks stores: www.honolulusoap.com

Thanks simpson and suze, I won't be restricting myself to one brand don't worry!
My husband says we must be the cleanest family around!

Island Soap & Candleworks has great souveniers. I always do my gift shopping for girlfriends there. I've not tried their handmade soaps, but love their lotions.

At Sand People I bought myself the coolest little silver mermaid clock last trip. I could have gone crazy in that store (and I am not a shopper).
