Luxury link - "a la carte" Biltmore hotel question

I checked with the Biltmore for a 2-night stay in March. Rate for the deluxe room was $359 a night. Also added to this would be resort fee (9$/day) and 13% tax.

Then I checked with Luxury Link and it looks as if they have the same room for $240/night. I am assuming that on top of this would be the resort fee and taxes added by the hotel. Does anyone know how this works? Also, do they charge you now or after your stay? I have e-mailed LL but they say that it will take them up to 3 days to respond and I am the anxious type.

Thanks.

If you buy from Luxury Link they will charge you immediately upon purchase.

I have used them several times and been very happy.

I thought you were talking about the Biltmore in NC. I looked at Luxury Link b/c I didn't think the Inn at Biltmore was carried. Then I realized you meant Coral Gables.

I looked at the property on Luxury Link and it adds tax of $53 for two nights after you select the booking option. So it would be $480 + $53. You should call the hotel and tell them that you are interested in booking via Luxury Link and were wondering if you would be assessed a resort fee when you arrive.

Don't be embarrassed about asking- Luxury Link is well respected by luxury hotels and you shouldn't feel like you are being cheap. Meaning, it's not regarded in the same way that priceline often is.

Thank you for the advice. I will call the hotel to inquire about LL bookings.

I didn't even realize that there was an Inn at the Biltmore estate in NC!

Look carefully at the Luxurylink listing for the property you are bidding on. If taxes and /or any other fees , activities are included, it will say so very clearly. If not specified, they are not included
I have won 2 auctions from them and purchased a "buy now" package, and in all 3 cases, all taxes and fees were included

Well I did realize it and would like to go to the one in NC, but I don't think they EVER discount their prices, which seem extragant to me ( I realize it is an extravagant place, I visited prior to the hotel being built). Am I wrong, anyone aware of any deals?

That's why I was surprised when I thought jamierin meant the Biltmore in NC.

I would like to visit there someday too. I've never hear of ANY deals for it and I don't think there ever will be because they have no problem with occupancy rates.

The taxes on this one (a la carte) are included after you select "book." It comes to $53, and that said it includes taxes and fees, which would include any resort fee.

The buy now packages include the taxes and fees in the quoted price. The only extra is a $20 handling fee.

I think that it does include the resort fee. Spoke with someone at LL directly and he was extremely nice and helpful. The only problem is that you have to pay 100% up front. I always worry about that.
