Luxury Link

Hello - Has anyone here used Luxury Link to book hotels for Hawaii or anywhere else? We are thinking about booking the Hapuna on the Big Island through Luxury Link (not an auction, just a regular booking). Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience, good or bad, with booking through Luxury Link. Thanks!

We've never just direct booked, but we've used their auctions to go to New Zealand, South Africa, Scotland, Austria and Belize.

Every trip was awesome. I highly recommend them.

I have bought several packages at auction on Luxury Link and every one worked beautifully. I got some very good deals and was treated well by the hotels.

In the past 2+ years we have booked 3 trips through Luxury Link and all have been wonderful! Our trips so far have all been through the auction---not their regular booking. My wife and I are big fans of "LL" and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Haven't done it myself but have read here about lots of others who have. Biggest tip is evidently make sure the property you want is available for the dates you want before buying or bidding from luxurylink. Phone them. to

They are excellent... we've used the auctions to go to Austria, Scotland, South Africa, New Zealand and Belize.

Every trip was fantastic.

Don't know if you are booking a "package" or just hotel, but it may be cheaper to check Hapuna's web site (since you are securing a "regular" booking). I've found you can get some pretty good rates on the web sites of the hotels. Just a thought . . .

I noticed that this thread has gotten picked up again and wanted to 2nd what mclaurie said above, we recently got a trip for 4 days in NY and called the hotel before bidding to make sure the dates we wanted were available. The hotel was exceptionally helpful and even put our names down for our dates in anticipation of us winning the auction (which we did).

I have used LL a number of times and found them to excellent. My last trip was a 7 day stay at a chateau in France that was in auction. Won the bid and it was 30% less then the actual price. Make sure that the times are avaiable that you want to travel. I usually travel to Eurpoe in May and genearly have no problem with dates.
