Luxor Room Choice???
 

Hi there! I am going to be staying that the Luxor in August with a good size group. The hotel has given me a choice of staying in a pyramid room or a tower room (both standard rooms). Since I have never been there before, I was hoping I could get some input here.

I am a Vegas regular who has stayed at lots of the strip hotels. While I have visited and played at the Luxor several times, I have not personally stayed there.

Most everyone that I talk to says go for the tower rooms. The pyramid rooms have that angled wall to deal with and the interesting inclinators (elevators that rotate to compensate for the angles). The tower is also somewhat newer but I doubt that would effect my decision.

There you have it, it's kind of a toss up for me but my wife would never go for the pyramid rooms.

We stayed in a pyramid room in July 2003 and thought it was pretty cool. The furniture was gorgeous - I wanted to take the armoir home! We figured we could stay in a hotel room in a tower pretty much anywhere, but if we wanted to stay in a pyramid Luxor was our choice! Have a wonderful trip!

The tower room is the better room less the coolness of the angled wall.

Thanks for the input. My co-traveler wants to stay at the tower. Works for me either way...I will be in Vegas so the room doesn't matter all that much. Thanks again!
