Has anyone stayed here? I booked four nights for new years...any suggestions on getting upgrades, comps, etc? How is the casino?...Thanks!

Mike...I stayed there last April. Nice hotel for the money. Try to stay in the tower...better bathrooms <BR> <BR>Casino was great, Luxor steak house will treat you well <BR> <BR>Have fun!

Didn't try for an upgrade. <BR> <BR>I did get comped dinner twice playing blackjack (badly) <BR> <BR>be sure to check out blue man group...definitely worth it

My husband and I stayed at the Luxor this past June and had a wonderful time. The Luxor is one of the closest hotels next to the airport. The Luxor has one of the best cafe's in las vegas called the Pyramid Cafe. The food there is great! They have the walking tram to the Excalibur hotel. From the excalibur you are close to the mid section of the vegas strip. <BR> <BR>You can easily get comped by a reservationist. But just don't go to the buffet at the hotel. It is horrible! It was kind of hard getting an upgrade, so we didn't really push it. We do not gamble. <BR> <BR>The Luxor is a very good hotel!

Mike: Please don't take previous posters advice! You cannot get comped by a reservationist! The way to get comped is by having your play(gambling) tracked by either pit boss or by using your players card in the machines. Call the Luxor and ask to speak with a Casino Host. They can get you set up with a line of credit(if you plan to gamble heavily). They can also arrange for restaurant and show reservations for you(again if your are a true player).
